What a wonderful day to know that our former master student, Yu Chuan Su, was awarded Google PhD Fellowship 2017. He is our pioneer in video learning with deep neural networks and contributed many strong works. He continues as a PhD student in UT Austin under the supervision of Prof. Kristen Grauman.

Starting from an undergraduate research student in our group, I can see the winding path he had gone through from the NTU school of Medicine, Physics and ended up in the fun place in computer science.

Feel proud and happy with what he has been doing and going to impact!
